Shelter House offers both direct service and administrative internships. The duties are assigned based on the type of internship and the number of hours required by the intern.
Any intern working directly with Shelter House domestic violence participants must complete Core Competency training as outlined by the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Interns working with sexual assault survivors must complete training required by the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence.
Administrative internships are available in finance and marketing.
